Staff Accountant in San Jose, California

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for providing vital support to our financial department by managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring financial transactions are accurate and up to date, and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify general ledger accounts.

• Prepare and adjust journal entries as required.

• Analyze and reconcile account details, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts.

• Maintain an updated general ledger chart of accounts.

• Assist with initial internal control evaluations.

• Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

• Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting procedures.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
