| Brief Job Description | This position is responsible for providing high-level support to facilitate the efficient operation of the Student Affairs division. The incumbent will providing a broad range of administrative support to the Vice President for Students Affairs and other members from the campus community. The incumbent holding this position must use good judgement in prioritizing multiple tasks and assignments; be able to interact with senior leadership on behalf of the Vice President utilizing tact and diplomacy to respond to situations, establish procedures to meet priorities while maintaining an efficient workflow; respond to calls, as well as organize, expedite, and follow-up on projects. |
| Required Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree and progressive administrative experience Advanced MS Office Skills including mail merge, creating and editing tables, data table in excel Experience creating reports using data gathered from various sources Ability to operate at a high degree of independence and responsbility while performing varied and complex tasks Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to act with integrity and professionalism, including sensitivity to personnel and confidential information. Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to organize work, set priorities, and work independently as well as a part of a team. Ability to master content management systems for websites, organizational chart software and others as needed Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidential information Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. |
