Research Engineer I (Computer Science)

The S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence invites applications for the position of Research Engineer I. 

We are seeking research engineers to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. The position is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related to human-object interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy deep learning models onto edge devices;
• Implement algorithms for human action recognition based on 2D or 3D key-points;
• Improve overall system performance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline;
• Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and python;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Excellent teamwork awareness;
• Experience in challenges/competitions (ACM-ICPC, SC-SCC, etc.) is a plus.
