Research Engineer I (Computer Science)

The S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence invites applications for the position of Research Engineer I.
We are seeking research engineers to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. The position is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related to human-object interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy deep learning models onto edge devices;
- Implement algorithms for human action recognition based on 2D or 3D key-points;
- Improve overall system performance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline;
- Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and python;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Excellent teamwork awareness;
- Experience in challenges/competitions (ACM-ICPC, SC-SCC, etc.) is a plus.
