To contribute to the academic development, course management, teaching, research development, and scholarship within the School of Medicine in the area of continued professional development.

 

The postholder will be expected to act as a module leader for a number of identified modules, to undertake administrative duties relevant to module leadership (administer course registers, assessment records, learning programmes and other records), and to engage with the recruitment of students onto courses and to provide appropriate advice on progression and career opportunities.

 

The successful candidate will have a good honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and a relevant Masters qualification. They will have the ability to teach and supervise dissertations up to Masters level, adopt a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning, and have the ability to undertake research/knowledge transfer activities.

 

Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston.
