This position serves as a member of the Instructional Design team; assists college faculty, staff, and students in the design and development of technology delivered/enhanced multi-media instructional products; consults with teaching and research faculty on projects directed toward designing and producing
educational materials, new techniques, or revised curriculum. Assists and trains college personnel and students in the operation of instruction, presentation,
video conferencing, and distance learning educational technologies and equipment; Provides technical assistance through demonstration, set up, and/or
operation of educational technologies for instructional presentation and institutional use; monitors, maintains, and coordinates operations of the college’s
instruction, presentation, video conferencing, and distance learning educational technologies resources; arranges and documents the maintenance, repair,
service, and/or replacement of the college’s educational technology resources; procures and provides items consumed in the college’s teaching and learning
environments by tracking inventory and submitting supply orders; trains and supervises student assistants in the use and service of educational technologies,
presentation equipment, and imaging techniques; coordinates and manages the college’s educational technologies and presentation equipment resources loaner
program. This position serves Instructional Design team by: Producing image-intense products that support the educational and research mission of the
college; and processing and documenting cost-recovery accounts receivable for products produced. Support the Digital Innovation and Design Studio
through setup, production sessions, and post-processing

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s Level Degree or equivalent educ/exp
Experience:
Three to five years of experience in the operation of various educational technologies such as A/V equipment and A/V equipment control and management systems; cameras; presentation software and systems; digital imaging systems; teleconferencing and distance learning systems. Accomplished in using Microsoft Office and familiar with Adobe Design and Web software.  Strong communication skills are required of this position.   

Desired: Physical requirements: Work requires extended periods of visual concentration and attention, use of a monitor and keyboard; some heavy lifting, physical labor and climbing of ladders.

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $53,800 to$71,700
