Fully funded 18-months post-doctoral position in cognitive neuroscience

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at the University Claude-Bernard Lyon1 (France), in the Inter-university Laboratory of Human Movement Biology (LIBM).

Tasks and responsibilities

•Planning, collecting, and analyzing research projects including electrophysiology (EEG), peripheral responses (ANS, EMG), and brain stimulation (tDCS) 

•Reporting the results in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences.

•Coordinating with the PI and other team members for strategies and project planning

Requirements 

•a PhD with strong academic and methodological skills in cognitive neuroscience, computer science, biomedical sciences, and/or psychology

•in particular, candidate should have a strong research experience with EEG data acquisition and analyses

•highly skilled in techniques of human visual psychophysics such as MATLAB programming for experiments, experimental data taking, data analysis (R), and paper writing 

•experience in hypnosis, sleep and memory research is an asset

•interpersonal and communication skills to efficiently collaborate in an interdisciplinary research setting, including Master student supervision.
