Job description

– conducting scientific and research activities,

– conducting classes and lectures for the Institute of Policing,

– participating in organisational activities within the Academy, performing tasks as a member of task forces appointed by the Commandant-Rector

Requirements

  • holding a doctoral degree of an associate professor with major in social sciences and discipline of security sciences,
  • if employed, the Police Academy will be the primary workplace,
  • a declaration certifying the field and discipline in the security sciences,
  • a declaration to be included in the research and teaching staff (the so-called N number) in the discipline of security sciences at the Police Academy in Szczytno,
  • publication record in the field of internal security,
  • teaching experience in higher education institutions,
  • experience in acquiring and implementing research projects

Additional requirements/skills

  • a good command of spoken and written foreign language (preferably English),
  • scientific achievements and teaching excellence that correspond with the teaching role,
  • professional experience in performing tasks in various posts in law enforcement (preferably police),
  • experience in organisational work and in performing functions in higher education institutions,

– good communication skills, availability, creativity,

  • ability to work in a team

I hereby agree to have my personal data processed at the Police Academy in Szczytno, Poland. It concerns the data contained in the CV and other documents, which I sent to the Academy for the purpose of conducting a competition open to the position described in the job offer.

In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation on data protection) of 27 April 2016 Official Journal of the European Union L No. 119, p. 1; hereinafter referred to as: RODO, I am aware that:

1) the administrator of my personal data is the Police Academy in Szczytno with its registered office at ul.

Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego 111, 12-100 Szczytno, Poland;

2) contact with the Academy’s Data Protection Officer is: iod.odo.wspol@wspol.edu.pl ;

3) my personal data will be processed in order to conduct a competition open to the position described in the job offer at the Police Academy in Szczytno, in accordance with the Labour Code and Article 6 (1) (a) of the RODO Act;

4) the recipients of my personal data may only be entities entitled to obtain personal data on the basis of legal regulations and companies supporting the Academy in IT assistance;

5) my personal data will be processed for the period specified in the regulations on archiving or withdrawal of my consent to their processing;

6) I have the right to demand from the controller access to my personal data, the right to rectify, erase or limit the processing, the right to transfer the data, the right to withdraw consent at any time;

7) I have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Supervisory Authority;

8) providing personal data by me is voluntary, but necessary to achieve the above mentioned purpose;

9) the reply to the offer in the form of submitting the required documents shall be regarded as the consent to the processing of my personal data;

10) withdrawal of consent for the processing of my personal data shall be executed by submitting a request to the Human Resources Department of the Police Academy in Szczytno, Poland.
