This breadth of expertise offers unique opportunities to address the complex challenges of modern society, to develop comprehensive new approaches, and educate the problem-solvers of tomorrow from a multidisciplinary perspective.At the Faculty of Psychology, the University of Vienna seeks to appoint aTenure-Track Professor in the field of Health and Environmental PsychologyThe position:The impact of environmental factors on our mental, as well as our physical, health is becoming increasingly evident, yet numerous basic and applied research questions remain. We are seeking applicants for a tenure-track position who have a globally recognized track record of research exploring the relationships between urban and natural environments and a range of health and well-being outcomes and resilience processes. Applicants are expected to be internationally recognized leaders in the field (e.g. be included in the Web of Science Highly-Cited list). They shall demonstrate a strong track record of grant funding, with particular preference for collaborative international and interdisciplinary research projects exploring the interplay between environmental and health issues; have an outstanding profile of publications in area leading, high-impact journals; and engage in extensive public outreach activities to relevant stakeholders (including policy makers). The research and methodological profile of applicants needs to be diverse and include experimental, large-scale survey, and qualitative methods, and must show excellent potential for collaborations with research and initiatives at the University of Vienna, foremost at the Faculty of Psychology, as well as the cross-cutting, interdisciplinary Cognitive Science and Environment and Climate Research Hubs.Your academic profile:
