Temporary Enrollment Division Project Manager

Job Purpose

Under the broad supervision of the Dean of Admissions, the Temporary Enrollment Division Project Manager is responsible for supporting key enrollment division projects and assisting with budget reconciliation and expense reporting in workday. The EDPM participates in on-campus admissions events including audition and interview days both on campus and online. Evening and weekend hours required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Project Manager

The EDPM will function as project manager for key strategic enrollment initiatives leveraging key technologies such as tableau, Salesforce, the Google and Microsoft suites, Keynote and others.

Supports the Dean in the development of key strategic projects focused on the ongoing development of our admissions process and review including but not limited to:

Assisting with project management for RAP (Re-envisioning our Admissions Process)

Assisting with documentation and organization of existing student facing frontline processes from Admissions Registrar, Student Accounts, and Student Financial services. 

Audition and Interviews and events

  • Collaborates with various Enrollment Team members to ensure all preparatory work is completed prior to an online or in person audition and interview event
  • Provides expert technical assistance during event for others working including faculty and Enrollment Team.
  • Assists with the supervision of Audition Team student employees when needed.
  • Available for online and in person audition and interview events throughout the season
  • Assists with event planning and management

Budget and Expense Reporting

Enrollment Division Project Manager supports the Dean in the reconciliation of budget expenditures in Workday.

Customer Service and Communication:
Ensures that the highest level of service is provided to all constituents engaging with the enrollment division, particularly within the recruitment division and Dean of Admissions

Other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Undergraduate degree required. Musical training and experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in college admissions operations (or similar field).
  • Budgetary management skills in regards to event planning and scheduling.
  • Proven track record of event management and customer service related skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic admissions environment.
  • Use of Salesforce and Eventbrite for customer service and managing campus tour registrations.
  • Knowledge of computer databases and standard software programs, most notably: Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Workday. Ability to learn new computer programs and easily adapt to both PC and Macintosh systems.
  • Must be creative, self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.
  • Strong administrative and time management skills.
  • Proven analytical abilities and sound judgment.
  • Ability to train, supervise, and coach student workers.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • FERPA knowledge and compliance necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is a fast-paced, high-volume operation staffed largely by student workers who require regular oversight and ongoing professional development and coaching.

SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, ETC. (Responsible for on-call, 24 HR. coverage, etc.):

Requires weekend and evening hours, sometimes on short notice.

This position may provide an opportunity for limited remote work.
