Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, the Surgical Coordinator Supervisor primarily oversees, provides leadership, and training for all surgical coordination duties. The Surgical Coordinator Lead has oversight over junior counterparts. The Surgical Coordinator Lead serves as a resource for the entire department. With the guidance of the Clinic Manager, the Surgical Coordinator Lead initiates and participates in improvement efforts which directly impact the practice. Job standards are to be performed at the EXPERT level. Other related duties as assigned.

• Seven (7) years of related experience in Surgery Scheduling, education/training OR A Bachelor’s Degree in business, healthcare administration or related area plus three (3+) or more years of related experience/training.

• One (1+) or more years as a lead or with direct leadership experience.

• Proficient knowledge of computer programs to include Excel, PowerPoint, Graphs, and Word, etc.

• Possess the skills and extensive knowledge of practices in Ambulatory setting, administrative lead and front office administration.

• Experience providing financial oversight. Proven ability to serve as point of contact and work collaboratively as a team member/leader.

• Customer/patient experience required.

• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
• Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
