The U.S. Department of State gives graduate students an internship to volunteer up to 10 weeks at various locations.
U.S. Department of State Student Internship Program allow students a chance to gain firsthand knowledge of American foreign affairs, with the opportunity to work in U.S. Embassies throughout the world, as well as in various bureaus located in Washington, D.C. and at Department offices spread around the United States. Internships are available during the spring, fall, and summer.
Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants can be graduate students who are enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment as a degree-seeking student in an accredited college or university.
Applicants must have good academic standing with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Needs to be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
