Senior Workshop Technician (Design)

FSE Technical Operations is a newly formed technical workforce for the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Manchester.

We aim to be the leading technical workforce in the UK higher education sector by embedding technical excellence, staff development, and workforce agility into everything that we do.

To underpin our ambitious plan, we are expanding our workforce by recruiting various roles in different areas and at different levels of expertise and knowledge.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about supporting our students and contributing to the search for new knowledge in a world-class research environment.

We are advertising for a senior technician (Design). Based in MECD, you will join the faculty’s mechanical design team in providing a high-quality design and CAD service in support of the faculty’s teaching and research activities.
