The Web Specialist will maintain the University’s websites to ensure that web content is updated, accurate, and valid.
Key Responsibilities
Work with content contributors to set up new web pages.
Optimise web content for search.
Manage change requests from stakeholders, seek approval and effect changes to the respective websites.
Serve as Administrator for websites and provide account setup and termination for other web content contributors.
Manage documentation and electronic filing of web copy, images, videos and banners and archive unpublished webpages.
Manage faculty profile changes for Cluster Directors and above.
Provide support for web projects assigned.
Provide support in HTML, CSS and banner design when required.
Job Requirements
Diploma in Multimedia with a minimum of two years’ experience in web content development or management.
Prior experience working with web content management systems, web project management, development or design will be an advantage.
Strong understanding of web UX and UI design.
Able to author or edit basic HTML and CSS codes.
Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere.
