Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong Business Analysis skills to join our team. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and business-oriented professional who can work closely with business stakeholders, analyze complex data landscapes, and contribute to high-impact data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data engineering solutions using Synapse, Python, and SQL.
• Design and optimize data models, utilizing Data Vault 2.0 methodologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and apply business logic, even in non-technical environments.
• Participate actively in an agile development environment, utilizing tools like Git, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Manage, analyze, and map complex data landscapes to ensure efficient data processing and management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL
• Strong experience in Data Modeling
• Hands-on experience with Synapse
• Excellent programming skills in Python
• Experience with Spark
• Proficiency in Data Vault 2.0
• Experience with Git
• Familiarity with SCRUM and agile methodologies
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with business stakeholders (non-IT)
• Strong analytical abilities to apply business logic in data solutions
• Ability to navigate and work within a complex data landscape

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in C# or .NET stack
• Experience with mapping technologies (e.g., Google Maps, MapTiler)
• Experience in the following technologies: – MS Azure, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Kubernetes, Talend, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ
