Senior Assistant Manager, HR (Faculty)

The Senior Assistant Manager plays an instrumental role in supervising a team to support the Faculty Appointment, Reappointment, Promotion & Tenure and Exit Management process within the University.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team to provide HR administrative and advisory support to enable effective HR operations in Faculty matters in alignment with University’s policies and guidelines

  • Ensure tasks and enquiries undertaken by the team are resolved and completed in a timely manner in accordance with the service level agreements (SLA)

  • Improve processes and procedures to ensure high standards of service and work quality, efficiency and governance

  • Involve in coordinating activities in supporting University level meetings

  • Drive and/or participate in projects and process reviews

  • Collaborate and build good working relationships with stakeholders within the University

Requirements

  • Human Resource Management, Social Sciences or Business related Degree

  • Preferably 5 years of experience in managing HR processes

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of direct reports

  • Excellent writing skills and ability to convey business requirements in a clear, concise, and effective manner

  • Good interpersonal, communication and organisation skills

  • Meticulous and a service-oriented mind-set

  • Familiar with the regulatory compliance on Employment Act and local immigration rules

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat applications
