Senior Assistant Manager, HR (Faculty)

The Senior Assistant Manager plays an instrumental role in supervising a team to support the Faculty Appointment, Reappointment, Promotion & Tenure and Exit Management process within the University.
Responsibilities

Supervise a team to provide HR administrative and advisory support to enable effective HR operations in Faculty matters in alignment with University’s policies and guidelines
-
Ensure tasks and enquiries undertaken by the team are resolved and completed in a timely manner in accordance with the service level agreements (SLA)
-
Improve processes and procedures to ensure high standards of service and work quality, efficiency and governance
-
Involve in coordinating activities in supporting University level meetings
-
Drive and/or participate in projects and process reviews
-
Collaborate and build good working relationships with stakeholders within the University
Requirements
-
Human Resource Management, Social Sciences or Business related Degree
-
Preferably 5 years of experience in managing HR processes
-
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of direct reports
-
Excellent writing skills and ability to convey business requirements in a clear, concise, and effective manner

Good interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
-
Meticulous and a service-oriented mind-set
-
Familiar with the regulatory compliance on Employment Act and local immigration rules
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat applications
