Senior Administrative Assistant, Global Strategic Alliances CSAIL

SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL)-Global Strategic Alliances, to perform a wide range of complex and diverse administrative tasks for the Global Strategic Alliances team.  Will provide day-to-day support for industry engagement programs, operations, events, communication, marketing, and professional program offerings. Major responsibilities include relationship management, including reaching out to principal investigators for deliverables/content/requests to speak or attend meetings; coordinating permissions and reviews with researchers and faculty; supporting the client relations team with industry affiliated events; and directing inquiries from clients and prospective clients to the client relations team.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; five years’ experience providing professional administrative support; excellent organizational, time-management, project management, writing, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills; ability to interact effectively across all levels of an institution and with external clients/stakeholders; familiarity with event planning; high-volume scheduling experience in a busy environment; good judgment, tact, and discretion with sensitive/confidential information; self-motivation; proactive approach to tasks in a fast-paced, pressured work environment; ability to multitask and work independently to complete projects but function effectively as a member of a team; experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Mac (Keynote, Numbers and Pages) applications and online tools such as Dropbox, Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc.; and ability to transport marketing materials and computer equipment weighing up to 25 pounds to various events.  PREFERRED

:  bachelor’s degree; interest in and knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine logic, robotics, natural language processing, computer vision, and other disciplines; experience writing for industry; experience in an educational environment; and familiarity with Salesforce and/or other CRM and social media platforms/tools.
