CSIRO is seeking a motivated Research Projects Officer – Resource sector biotechnology to join CSIRO’s Industrial Biotechnology Group to help CSIRO deliver on Sustainable Industries impact area.
In this role, you will contribute to various resource sector biotechnology projects, maintain cultures, set up, maintain and take samples from various experiments, conduct physical-chemical, microbiological and molecular biological analysis, and analyse and interpret data. Key focus areas during the 3-year term will be:
The Industrial Biotechnology Group develops biotechnical and environmental engineering solutions for sustainable industries, value recovery from wastes, pollution prevention and remediation, and minimisation of contaminant risks resulting in economic value, smaller environmental footprint, and improved human and ecosystem health.
