CSIRO’s Space & Astronomy business unit (S&A) has over 300 people working across Australia to understand our Universe, contribute to solving the greatest challenges, and build future industry. S&A has a rich heritage of developing and managing Australia’s leading radio astronomy observatories as a national research facility – the Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF) – used by astronomers at CSIRO and around the world. S&A is also an operating partner to the international SKA Observatory.
As a Project Delivery Coordinator with S&A, you will join the Technologies Program which is responsible for Research and Development, design, fabrication, and commissioning of hardware and software engineering solutions in the fields of antennas, receivers, and digital systems. This position directly supports the Research Program Director in driving the project portfolio forward to meet agreed milestones and performance, as well as monitoring, reviewing and reporting on projects for S&A’s Program Review Board.
S&A commits to providing a safe and inclusive work culture and strives to improve diversity and equity within our workplaces. All team members have access to CSIRO’s flexible work arrangements, as well as professional training and development opportunities. This role is offered on a full-time or part time basis (minimum 0.6 FTE).
