University Advancement’s Office of Engagement (OOE) seeks an energetic, analytical, and organized Project Associate on our fast-paced team to increase involvement and giving from UVA alumni, families, and friends. The Project Associate is responsible for creating recipient lists, demographic reports, and outcome measurement data. Reporting to the Director for Direct Marketing, the Project Associate assists all OOE programs, including Annual Giving, Lifetime Learning, Travel, and UVA Clubs. The Project Associate will liaison with the Advancement Operations’ Business Intelligence team, participating in training, meetings, and cross-training opportunities.

UVA Advancement offers a flexible and hybrid workplace. All team members must have access to and maintain a secure home office environment with high-speed internet service and work collaboratively with others using various technologies and tools. Depending on the type of position and work performed, or as deemed by manager, some positions may be required to work intermittently in a shared office space located in Charlottesville, Virginia. This position may work from anywhere, with the expectation of being in Charlottesville twice a year at UVA’s expense.

This position is a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding, and performance. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Two years of experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
