Job description:
You have the following tasks:
Characterization of shape memory films (structure, mechanical, thermal)
Modelling, design and simulation of bistable actuator devices (FEM multiphysics, lumped element modelling)
Development of fabrication processes (electron beam lithography, PVD, RIE, wet-chemical etching)
Fabrication and characterization of demonstrator variants in a scanning electron microscope
Simulation-based design optimization
The activity offers the opportunity for a part-time doctorate.
