Job description:

You have the following tasks:

• Characterization of shape memory films (structure, mechanical, thermal)
• Modelling, design and simulation of bistable actuator devices (FEM multiphysics, lumped element modelling)
• Development of fabrication processes (electron beam lithography, PVD, RIE, wet-chemical etching)
• Fabrication and characterization of demonstrator variants in a scanning electron microscope
• Simulation-based design optimization

The activity offers the opportunity for a part-time doctorate.
