EBG MedAustron GmbH in Wiener Neustadt operates one of the most modern centers for particle therapy and research in Europe. Cancer patients are treated with an innovative form of radiation therapy with protons and carbon ions. In addition to cancer treatment the facility is also used for translational research.Our Medical Physics team is responsible for acceptance and medical commissioning of all medical devices related to ion beam therapy. We use state-of-the-art robotic systems and novel imaging procedures here.Become part of the Medical Physics team as aMedical Physicist (f/m/x)Full-time (40 hours)Challenges you conquer:

• Supporting the implementation of new technologies for the clinics
• Project contribution and coordination within Medical Physics
• Shift work activities with a focus on Dosimetry and QA activities
• Monte Carlo simulation activities
• Data analysis and reporting
• Presentation to the management & external

A background that impresses:

• Academic studies (Master degree or PhD) in Medical Physics, Physics or similar
• Ideally 1 or more years of clinical experience in Medical Physics
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Very good English skills and at least basic German knowledge
• Hands-on mentality, flexibility and team spirit
• Good presentation and communication skills in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment
