Material Handler in Waterloo Regional Municipality, Ontario

Job Title: Material Handler

Cambridge, ON $23 per hour Night Shift

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving products, picking orders, and ensuring a continuous flow to the production lines. You will operate within a fast-paced, clean, and well-lit pharmaceutical environment, utilizing the ERP system to assist in preparing shipping documents and tracking products. The role involves operating forklifts (50% of duties) and performing manual tasks (50% of duties) such as loading and unloading trucks, either with a forklift or manually up to 50 lbs. You will perform cycle counts, generate reports, compile and transfer materials, anticipate production demands, and support shipments and receipts processes. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to GMP and regulatory requirements, maintaining quality standards.

Hard Skills

• Certified on the Walkie, counterbalance, and reach truck forklift.

• 1 year of experience in material handling within a warehouse.

• Strong computer skills (ERP Systems, Microsoft Office, RF scanners).

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities

• Strong organizational skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s) and possibility to go permanent if you perform well.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Cambridge, Ontario.
