An exciting opportunity has become available in CQUniversity’s Student Recruitment team for a Marketing Assistant – Student Recruitment.  The role will allow you to either begin or continue your professional development journey in the dynamic and ever-evolving field of Marketing at CQUniversity.

 

The Student Recruitment team is integral to the operations and growth of CQUniversity, providing expert local and national student recruitment and retention strategies to increase student numbers and market share across vocational, undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses.  

 

As a Marketing Assistant – Student Recruitment, you will assist with the operational aspects of the team, including planning, implementing, and reviewing CQUniversity’s local and national student recruitment strategy.  You will have strong relationship building skills, working within the schools as well as the wider community, working together to increase student interest through positive marketing and recruitment strategies.

Position Requirements

 

• Basic Marketing knowledge including an understanding of student recruitment, customer relationship management, direct marketing and sales, event coordination, online marketing and social media and advertising.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including relationship building, liaison and consultation, public speaking, and written communication.
• Attention to detail (accuracy and consistency), time management, problem solving and well-development organising skills.
• You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
