Managing Security Consultant (m/w/d)

As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client’s organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Helping client IT and business executives understand Data Security issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities using interviews, workshops and assessments
• Providing consulting services to analyze and resolve security incidents and to work with the client to achieve an overall superior security posture
• Defining business drivers and develop associated data security strategy, programs, incident response plans, and remediation recommendations and roadmaps by applying security principles and knowledge of Data security technologies, maturity models and best practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• multiple years of relevant work experience in similar role
• deep understanding of environment and needs of clients in the public sector
• Fluent German and English language skills
