This position is a shared position between the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (50%) and the Associate Dean for Research (50%) at the Jackson School of Geosciences. The position will be responsible for program administration and coordination in both offices, including development, implementation, and assessment of programs.

Responsibilities
The position will work in collaboration with the Associate Deans to collect and develop a data management plan for institutional records. Responsible for developing and implementing reporting initiatives, analyzing trends, and identifying data to meet objectives and accomplish program strategies and goals.
In collaboration and consultation with the Associate Deans, this position will assist in the development and execution of informational campaigns and messaging designed to increase overall awareness and an organizational climate that is welcoming and respectful of all people and forwards research success. This success will require frequent interactions with members from all JSG units, as well as other Organized Research Units on campus. This position will track and analyze all programs and campaigns to provide basic reports and metrics
In consultation with the Associate Deans, this position will coordinate learning opportunities for the Jackson School community to advance the School’s commitment to an organizational climate that is welcoming and respectful of all people, promoting scientific research success, equity, and creating a culture of inclusion among the Jackson School’s faculty, researchers, staff, students, alumni and friends. This position will coordinate training and development related to programs sponsored by the responsible Associate Dean. Responsible for all phases of in-person and virtual program activities (events and podcast), including planning, developing, and coordinating large meetings, events, and conferences.
This position will execute administrative duties and business operations including processing paperwork, expenditures, and disbursements for sponsorship/interdepartmental transfers, new vendor profiles, travel/lodging forms and authorizations, speaker agreements and payments, purchase approval requests, and supplies and equipment acquisition, for the ADs.
Assist with various Business Services Office functions for the ADs including procard and travel card reconciliations, as well as account reconciliation including variance analysis, ad-hoc, and fiscal year end reporting in order to maintain a high level of data integrity.
Other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and no less than five (5) years of work experience in business, statistics, business analysis, and/or program administration.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree and more than five (5) years of work experience in business, statistics, business analysis, and/or program administration. Experience with data sets and data analysis related to program administration. Program administration and coordination. Training and development administration and coordination. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Salary Range
$50,000 to $60,000 depending on qualifications
