Hybrid Clinical Nurse Educator

Inizio Engage Canada is seeking a full-time Hybrid Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to educate and raise awareness to HCPs (Healthcare Providers) regarding a rare disease; X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH). The CNE will meet with different specialists involved with XLH syndrome. The role is hybrid based in the province of Quebec (QC), making visits to hospitals and specialized clinics across the province. The CNE will be reporting to the Director Operations in Patient Solutions. The jobholder will be working remotely and, in the field, in a full-time position based on the role requirements.

Key Objectives:

• To meet with targeted HCPs in hospitals/clinics to educate on XLH disease.
• To raise awareness to HCPs on the patients’ identification.
• To organize educational sessions with HCPs on disease and treatment.
• To enter meeting notes in the program CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to ensure continuity in the service delivered to HCPs.
• To Report Adverse Event/Product Complaints ensuring the manufacturer requirements.
• To maintain excellent quality and superior customer service while adhering to program talking points.
• To only use approved materials provided by Inizio or by the client, without changing, copying, or distributing the materials
• To maintain all company equipment and materials in accordance with company instructions.
• To comply with all Inizio Policies and Procedures, along with all Manufacturer Policies and Procedures as required.
• To attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments that Inizio and the client require, to an appropriate standard and within the allocated time.
• To complete all required administrative responsibilities as required by the program. Some of these could include daily computer updates, weekly summary of activity reports, emails, and time reporting.

Job Holder Specification:

• Registered Nurse in the province of Quebec
• Must hold a current valid nursing license in the province of the candidate’s residence
• Fluently bilingual in English and French, with a strong knowledge in speaking and writing in French.
• Valid CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) license
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a rare disease area or in nephrology is preferred.
• Effective and professional communicator
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Very comfortable in presenting to a healthcare professional group.
• Demonstrable organizational skills
• A self-starter with high personal motivation
• Customer service driven.
• Ability to multitask.
• Evidence of continual professional development and a desire to update professional knowledge base regularly.
• 40 hours work weekly
• Travel into the major cities of the Qc province for 50% of the time and 50% remote work
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Suite knowledge
