House Director – Delta Kappa Epsilon – 517422

Normal Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some nights & weekends required

Job Summary: Manages day-to-day operations and staff for a Greek residential facility.

Additional Department Summary: The Delta Kappa Epsilon House Director is a twelve-month position with set working hours for the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Serves external constituents such as House Board members, alumni, volunteers, parents, and vendors who provide services for the house on a regular basis, and therefore, must be available 24/7 (on-call). Follows established emergency procedures, notifies local authorities and University officials, and guides staff while maintaining the proper resident focus. Responsible for completing required training and promoting a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace.

Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.

Skills and Knowledge: Good judgment skills. Familiarity with University and community resources. Working knowledge of computers and software ( Microsoft Excel and Word, e-mail, etc.). Demonstrated commitment to expand multicultural knowledge, awareness, and skills as evidenced through: demonstrating self awareness; understanding and valuing others; demonstrating knowledge of social inequalities; interacting effectively with a diversity of people; fostering equity and inclusion.
