As an attractive employer, Erste Group offers interesting career opportunities in an international environment.The Accounting AT unit, as part of Group Accounting, is responsible for local Financial Statements of Erste Group Bank AG (EGB) and Erste Bank der österreichischen Sparkassen AG and all accounting reports to the respective departments. Further, Accounting AT takes over the business owner function for implementation of accounting projects for the Austrian sector (ie. treasury products, FPSL subledger). The department acts as operative single point of contact for internal and external auditors.Ihre Aufgaben

• Leadership: Lead, foster, motivate and develop a team of 9 people taking into account the changing conditions (e.g. future competencies, digitalization, hybrid working)
• Responsibility for Financial Statements and internal reporting: Manage monthly/yearly accounting reports and relevant reporting processes and systems according UGB/BWG and IFRS, especially for Erste Group and Erste Bank. Act as main counterpart to external auditors
• Retained Organization: Coordinate resources and provide instructions and guidelines
• Responsible for Treasury Accounting within Calypso, including the maintenance and implementation of new regulatory requirements, as well as the integration of new products.
• Digitalization & automation: Lead and drive modernization projects in Accounting and Reporting by usage of technological opportunities (i.e. subledger: FPSL, treasury products: Calypso, …) and communicate technical enhancements, requirements and developments to the AT sector

Ihr Profil

• Banking experience in a leadership role in the field of Accounting or Reporting in a performance-driven environment
• Outstanding financial, business and technical acumen with a strong focus on Accounting (national and international accounting standards); Knowledge of treasury accounting is advantageous
• Know how with SAP, FPSL or Calypso skills are of advantage
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills – both in German and English
