| Position Summary | Groundbreaking Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship Director Opportunity The University of Nebraska Medical Center Department of Psychiatry in Omaha, NE is pleased to announce the availability of a forensic psychiatry fellowship director position. This opportunity is perfectly suited for a seasoned educator to spearhead the creation of Nebraska’s first forensic psychiatry fellowship program. The director will be supported by a growing number of accomplished, energetic faulty members and will have the opportunity to implement innovative ideas for training, curriculum, and scholarship. Our strong partnership with county, state, and academic partners is committed to bringing better, more accessible psychiatric care to inmates. The Department of Psychiatry co-administers a fully accredited residency program in general psychiatry and a fellowship program in addiction medicine. We operate a range of clinical services including ambulatory, intensive outpatient, and psychiatric emergency services.
