Digital Press Operator

Location: Scarborough, ON (In-Person)

Job Type: Contractual with a Potential to become Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (40 hours/week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Digital Press Operator to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will operate and monitor digital printing equipment to produce high-quality index tab divider products while ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with machinery, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor a high-speed web press printer.
• Manage print production on two Ricoh digital copiers.
• Produce, organize, and prepare high volumes of index tab divider press sheets.
• Load paper stock and other materials into printing equipment.
• Monitor print quality and make adjustments as required.
• Prepare and stage jobs for production according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with general production duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating printing, production, manufacturing, or other mechanical equipment is preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to safely lift and move boxes of paper weighing up to 30 lbs.
