Position Details
| General Statement | Montana State University seeks a dynamic Competitive Sports Coordinator. This position reports within Recreational Sports and Fitness, which aligns with the Student Wellness area, within the Division of Student Success. This position will be a crucial part of managing the programs, processes and infrastructure within the new Student Wellness Center, 185,000 square foot facility that will be home to Recreational Sports & Fitness, Student Health Services, Health Advancement and Counseling & Psychological Services. The Competitive Sports Coordinator will report to the Associate Director Recreational Sports & Fitness. The Competitive Sports Coordinator assists with the supervises all aspects of the Intramural Sports and Club Sports programs within the department of Recreational Sports & Fitness. Under the guidance of the Associate Director, this position will be responsible for cultivating a successful competitive sports program by engaging in collaboration and teamwork, intentional communication strategies, critical thinking, evaluation & assessment, budget management and student development practices. |
