Communications and Operations Coordinator, Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP)

COMMUNICATIONS AND OPERATIONS COORDINATOR, Undergraduate Practice Opportunities Program (UPOP), to join a year-long professional development program for sophomores focused on building the relevant and critical skills necessary for their future careers.  Will work under the supervision of the senior program manager and be responsible for coordinating UPOP’s marketing and communication efforts and for performing essential operational needs. Responsibilities include coordinating UPOP’s multichannel communication calendar and developing and delivering content across channels (digital, print, social); collaborating closely across the UPOP team to ensure program initiatives are properly marketed and that UPOP messaging is clear and consistent for both internal and external communications; coordinating UPOP operations needs, including financial processing, purchasing, and managing the office; and assisting with annual program-wide reporting.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a related field; one year of communications and/or marketing experience, including digital communications, website, content management systems, and e-marketing production, preferably in higher education; demonstrated experience developing and coordinating email communications, social media, and marketing campaigns for an organization; strong project management, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and be flexible; a proactive, self-directed, results-oriented, and data-driven approach to the workload; ability to define and execute projects independently and work successfully as a member of a team; and discretion with confidential information.  PREFERRED

:  proficiency with managing web platforms, text messaging software, social media, basic production and presentation design, Excel, and PowerPoint; and demonstrated experience using web-based graphic design tools. Job #21946-6
