Job Description:

Perform demographic and clinical interviews with supervision, of Addiction patients referred for psychological testing. This will include gathering a history of the patients’ complaint, including types of symptoms, length of symptoms and impact of symptoms on personal and occupational functioning. It will also include a complete psychosocial history that will cover developmental issues and early family history, childhood physical, emotional or sexual abuse, education, occupational history, relationships, past medical history, mental health history, substance use history and legal history. This data will be provided to the psychologist and used in developing a multiaxial DSM-IV diagnosis.
Administer and score neuropsychological testing. Conduct a variety of cognitive and personality psychological tests including but not limited to the following: Test of Premorbid functioning, , Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale IV,  Wechsler Memory Scale Fourth Ed, California Verbal Learning Test III, Controlled Oral Word Association Test, Animal Naming, Grooved Pegboard test, Trail Making test, Stroop Color Word test, Wisconsin Card Sorting test,, Halstead Category Test, Iowa Gambling task, Conner’s Continuous Performance Test, Rey Osterrieth Complex Figure Test, CNS Vital Signs, MMPI2, MCMI-IV. Organization and storage of patient test data and other PHI in compliance with HIPAA, departmental and UF regulations.
Collaborate with the FGP FRC clinic to ensure proper EPIC scheduling of patients being tested. Coordinates and verifies payments for service and communication to therapists on visits  regarding scheduled testing and feedback times to ensure the treatment team knows of assessment timeline. Provides patients another source of accountability since the therapists follow-up with each patient to make sure they attend.

Review and analyze literatures and compilations of data relevant to potential and/or ongoing research projects.

Manage testing resources, communication with contracted providers of proprietary testing materials, ongoing management of technological assets used for neurocognitive testing, and coordinating maintenance of those assets as needed.

Expected Salary:

$50,000 – $60,000 

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior course work in psychological testing.

Prior testing experience is preferred.
