Business Analyst in Jersey City, New Jersey

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking a SharePoint Business Analyst to join their team. As a SharePoint Business Analyst, you will be part of the IT department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as experience writing business requirements and functional specifications, performing gap analyses, and comparing and documenting current and future states.

Job Title: SharePoint Business Analyst

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (hybrid)

Pay Range: 60-65/hr W2

What’s the Job?

• Responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.

• Identifying, evaluating, and recommending potential solution options.

• Managing communications between IT and business for assigned work.

• Assisting in formulating and designing system scope and objectives based on user needs and thorough understanding of IT and business processes.

• Participating in the technical design, prototyping, test planning, developing, testing, and implementation of new or enhanced applications.

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• 5-7 years’ experience as an IT business analyst preferred

• 5-7 years with SharePoint

• Experience writing business requirements and functional specifications

• Experience performing gap analyses, and comparing and documenting current and future states

• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal relationship building skills: able to work with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
