The Benefits Manager will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative management of the University’s retirement savings plans (DC and DB), along with the University’s leave process including FMFL, FMLA and disability benefits for faculty and staff as well as the life insurance programs and long-term care insurance.
These responsibilities entail taking ownership for the administration of each program, their enrollments, consistent application and communication of the benefits, analysis of utilization and trends, and related administrative issues including billing.
Other responsibilities include assisting in development of new plan designs and options, creation of benefit communications, conducting meetings, analyzing potential exceptions to policy, special projects, and development and execution of internal processes and procedures.
