The Division of Anatomy at The Ohio State University College of Medicine (OSUMC) in Columbus, OH invites applications for open rank full-time faculty position with a specifi c focus in Musculoskeletal Anatomy and Undergraduate Education. Candidates should have a strong background in the use of information technology in the teaching of anatomy as well as the development of novel anatomy curricula for the health sciences, specifi cally Physical and Occupational Therapy (PT/OT). Candidates are expected to have earned a doctorate in Anatomy or a related fi eld and possess a strong record of excellence in teaching. Preference will be given to those candidates who are dual-degreed with Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a degree in occupational therapy. Candidates will support the teaching mission of the Division of Anatomy in human gross anatomy focusing on professional and undergraduate education. Additional expectations include delivery and facilitation of Case-Based or Team-Based learning. Successful candidates are also expected to engage in collaborative research commensurate with their level of development. Track (Tenure or Clinical) and academic appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor will be commensurate with the candidate’s background and experience.

Responsibilities
• Full-time teaching load in multiple levels of instruction on both lecture and laboratory courses with a specifi c focus in human gross anatomy for PT/OT professional students and undergraduate education. Responsibilities will include collaborating with other faculty on curriculum development within anatomy courses in a team-based environment.
• Mentor undergraduate, graduate, and/or professional students in research projects in the applicant’s area of expertise.

Qualifications
Doctorate in the anatomical sciences or equivalent.; Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a degree in occupational therapy preferred;; Preference will be given to those applicants with at least three years instructional experience; Preference will be given to applicants with a strong background in the development of innovative curricula designed for professional anatomy education; Strong background in musculoskeletal anatomy; Evidence of potential for successful teaching at the college/university level; Strong written, verbal, and interprofessional skills; An eagerness to engage with colleagues, staff, administrators to develop improvement of educational experiences for our students.
