Job Duties

  • Provides administrative support for the day-to-day operations of assigned area(s): prepares purchase requisitions; coordinates and monitors maintenance services; serves as liaison between departments, faculty and staff.
  • Answers and returns telephone calls and e-mails regarding questions and concerns of department/programs; communicates and interprets policies and procedures; may develop procedures for assigned area(s); responds to questions resolves issues of moderate complexity.
  • Serves as a liaison between the assigned area (i.e., Psychological Services Center) and the Psychology Department, faculty and staff, as well as other administrative units within the University.
  • Handles confidential issues or sensitive records on a regular basis (e.g., client records that are protected by HIPAA, and student academic records that are protected by FERPA); provides technical support and training on software.
  • Generates reports based upon data generated from the electronic health record used in the Psychological Services Center
  • Assists in the preparations of departmental budget; monitors all budget and grant expenditures; For example, the position monitors faculty development accounts, student development accounts, and prepares financial reports regarding these accounts and the larger PSC operation.
  • Coordinates and performs administrative services; makes arrangements for events and meetings; composes and types correspondence; distributes mail; makes travel arrangements; screens telephone calls; managing filing systems.
  • Trains and supervises student staff in the Psychological Services Center.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school education or equivalent; supplemented with three to five (3-5) years of related experience. Associate’s degree preferred.

Vaccine Protocol
