Purpose

Responsible for UHD customer account billing and management, requiring the use of initiative, judgment, and coordination with internal and external entities. Use various systems for the purpose of researching customer accounts, resolving billing issues, and processing accounting transactions. 

Responsibilities

  • Act as key customer point of contact for Bevo Pay, Conferences, and student account services. Process payments and refunds from various sources. Activate and maintain meal plans using DEFINE and CSGold. Reconcile and audit deposits for Dine In Dollars, Bevo Pay, and various stored value plans within the accounting systems.

  • Process the billing for athletics, catering, events, conferences, and guest housing. Provide consistent, timely, and reliable responses to internal/external client inquiries via email or other methods of communication, regarding any questions, issues, or concerns related to UHD Accounts Receivable.

  • Process *DEFINE vouchers including, but not limited to, interdepartmental transfers, deposits, payments, and corrections. Ensure all transactions are properly reconciled and coded before posting to the general ledger. Audit and approve vouchers as needed. Reconcile all departmental general ledger balances to Main Accounting.

  • Attend meetings, act as a liaison, and assist with any inquiries related to student or UHD departmental receivables. Provide support for UHD Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Finance. Maintain documented procedures on related processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

  • Related work experience.

  • Uses and capabilities of data processing equipment.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

  • At least two years accounting experience.

  • University experience.

  • StarRez experience.

  • CSGold experience.

  • PointPlus experience.

  • FRMS experience.

  • Workday experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and be open to diverse perspectives.

  • Strong analytical and systems process analysis skills. Results oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Committed to continuous learning.

  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office.

Salary Range

$48,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions

  • Use of manual dexterity

Work Shift

  • Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm (this position offers a hybrid work schedule)
