Description/Applicant information

The Alumni Scholarship will provide a discount for Curtin alumni commencing postgraduate study in the second half of 2022. Eligible students will receive 15% off the first year of coursework tuition fees.

Value

The Curtin Alumni Scholarship will provide the following support: 

• 15% off student tuition fees for the first year of study (up to a maximum of 200 credits).

Please note that this scholarship does not cover your Student Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF) or any other expenses related to your studies (e.g. Student Services and Amenities Fees and Ancillary or incidental fees). You are liable for your SSAF each semester, along with any other expenses incurred for you to undertake your studies.

Scholarship Details
Eligible courses

All full fee-paying Graduate Diploma or Masters by coursework postgraduate degrees in:

• Business and Law*
• Humanities*
• Science and Engineering*

Please note the following are excluded:

• Postgraduate coursework studies in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP)
• Master of Information Management
• Graduate Diploma in Information and Library Studies
• Graduate Diploma in Records Management and Archives
• Master of Architecture
• Master of Teaching

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria to be considered for the Curtin Alumni Scholarship:

• Curtin Alumni (graduate of Curtin University) currently residing in Australia
• Commencing an eligible postgraduate course at Curtin University in semester 1, trimester 1 or trimester 2, 2023
• Apply for admission into an eligible postgraduate course at Curtin within the Curtin course application timelines

Please note:

• Students undertaking studies via Open Universities Australia are not eligible for this scholarship
• The scholarship is not deferrable

Application process

• No scholarship application is required
• All candidates who receive a course offer will be automatically assessed for the Curtin Alumni Scholarship
• Scholarship discount will be applied once census date for the relevant semester/trimester has lapsed

Enrolment Requirements

• Candidates must remain enrolled in their course for the duration of the scholarship tenure
• LOA from the scholarship is not permitted, if a recipient withdraws from their course, the scholarship will cease immediately
