About the role:

We are currently seeking a curious and enthusiastic data analyst to join our Solution Enablement team on our Westpac RPO for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.  This role would suit someone in the early stages of their data and analytics career looking to establish themselves as an expert in a specific industry – if you have the technical skills, we can teach you the rest!

Our Data Analyst is responsible for developing, building, and maintaining reporting across Microsoft Excel and Power BI.  The suite of reports includes daily weekly, monthly and quarterly performance dashboards which will allow us to effectively manage our people, strategy, and performance.  This role will work closely with a group of consultants where the work you deliver has a very real impact on our partnership and importantly the careers we impact every day.

The focus of this role is to evolve our data availability and grow data capability across the wider team to drive change in our recruitment process. 

About You

You will be a true problem solver with the drive to become an expert in your field.  You need to be comfortable with asking the right questions to gather the right information and your logical and analytical mindset will provide actionable and meaningful solutions to the problems you strive to solve. You will be able to tailor complex data to your audience, providing meaningful insights that lead to practical and effective solutions.

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience with business reporting
  • Attention to detail
  • Advanced experience with Excel; working knowledge of pivot tables, IF statements, and macros
  • Power BI or Tableau experience
  • Working knowledge of ATS with Workday or Oracle being highly desirable
  • Be able to work in a fast paced, client driven environment with ever changing deadlines.
