This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for an engaging, result-oriented and ambitious individual who can inspire and influence others and proactively expand the breadth and depth of our business engagement activities.   

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Global Opportunities, you will be leading and executing our new business and partnership development and engagement framework to proactively generate and develop new work based learning opportunities and to promote University of Leeds talent to a range of businesses and organisations. This will include expanding the range of our business development activities; working collaboratively with Faculty Employability teams, Nexus, LUU and other internal stakeholders; and providing business development partnership management support to achieve a significant change in the number of businesses we engage with.? 

You will be also leading a team which is responsible for the development and delivery of ‘exclusive to Leeds’ opportunities for students to develop their skills, experience and employability. These will cover opportunities that are sourced exclusively for University of Leeds students and include work placements, internships, insight days, virtual programmes and graduate roles.
