- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) is seeking to fill a Regional Fisheries Program Manager position listed under the WILDLIFE MANAGER 4 Class based out of Crossville, TN. The selected candidate will provide oversight of a regional fisheries program that covers a 24-county area in Central and East Tennessee. Duties include preparing and monitoring budgets, leads development of fisheries policy, monitors biologists activities related to reservoir, stream, and hatchery management, leads in developing partnerships with local state and federal agencies, and represents the program in various settings including Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission meetings. The program scope of work includes monitoring sport fish populations, aquatic nuisance species surveillance, enhancing access to fisheries, improving habitat, surveying anglers, conducting outreach programs, and operation of two hatchery facilities.
