Wellbeing Adviser (Disability) 

Ref: SC4295

£27,929 to £34,308 per annum 

The Wellbeing Service are looking to recruit a new Wellbeing Adviser to work as part of busy team supporting students with physical and sensory disabilities, temporary disabilities, and long-term conditions. 

You will provide student-centred advice, guidance and identify the support needs and reasonable adjustments required by students. You will undertake case work with individual students, liaise with external services, and provide advice to academic and other staff to enable students to access their courses and the wider opportunities offered by the University. 

The Wellbeing Adviser will play an active role in the promotion of inclusivity within the student and wider University community.

This post is available immediately on an indefinite, full-time basis. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.  Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child and Adult Barred Lists. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children or vulnerable adults.

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is

advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who

would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed

working hours, part time, job share, term-time only and/or hybrid working.
