Aerotek is looking to expand our Welder/Fabricator roster in Calgary AB. This job opportunity will provide full time hours, long term benefits with stability and longevity. There will also be opportunity for growth and pay increases.

Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator for a contract to permanent opportunity to complete maintenance welding in the plant. The role requires proficiency in stick and MIG welding. You will be accountable for keeping your work area clean.

Top Skills

• Welding experience is an asset

• MIG and Stick welding experience

• Bench Welding

• Steel Fabrication

• Manufacturing

• Reading blueprints

Soft Skills

• Journeyman ticket – would also look at apprentices or un ticketed welders.

• Attention to detail

• Physical strength and stamina

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in CALGARY, Alberta.

Work Environment

This position is located in a large manufacturing plant in the north of Calgary. The work environment can be dusty, loud, and dirty. The work schedule is Monday – Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with some overtime. You will be part of a maintenance team consisting of 5 people, including 1 CWB Welder.

Rate of Pay

$40 for the Journeyman rate
