Website and Digital Systems Administrator

Position Overview:

War Child Alliance is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Website and Digital Systems Administrator to support the “Can’t Wait to Learn Ukraine” project. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for website maintenance, analytics creation, CRM and mailing management, technical support, and administration of project management software.

What you will do:

  • Website Maintenance and Administration
    • Regularly update and maintain the project website, ensuring all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with the project’s goals.
    • Monitor website performance, security, and uptime, addressing any issues promptly and independently.
    • Resolve any advanced technical issues related to the website and be available to create new sites as needed.
    • Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility.
  • Analytics Creation and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain detailed analytics reports on website traffic, user behavior, and engagement metrics.
    • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve website and digital marketing performance.
  • 3. CRM and Mailing Management
    • Manage the CRM system, ensuring that all data is correctly inputted, updated, and utilized for campaign targeting.
    • Create and manage mailing lists for various stakeholder communications.
    • Oversee the design, scheduling, and dispatch of email campaigns, ensuring they align with project goals and best practices.
  • 4. Technical Support
    • Provide technical support to team members and stakeholders using the project’s digital platforms.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, CRM systems, and other digital tools.
    • Maintain documentation of common issues and solutions to streamline future support.
  • 5. Project Management Software Administration
    • Administer the project management software, ensuring it is configured to meet the project’s needs.
    • Train team members on the use of project management tools, ensuring they can effectively track progress and manage tasks.
    • Regularly update and maintain project timelines, tasks, and resources within the software.

What you will bring:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • Relevant Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in website management, digital analytics, CRM management, and project management software administration.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
      • Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, and CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Independence and Multitasking: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sector Familiarity: Familiarity with the non-profit sector and educational projects is a plus.
