| Brief Summary of Job Description | Position creates, edits and publishes compelling content for unk.edu, including writing copy, proofreading and building pages. Uses web design, content management and search engine optimization (SEO) software. Also maintains site for accuracy and timely content, creates reports and integrates photos / video to improve user experience. Web Content Specialist helps define and execute strategies for the use of the web to engage prospective and enrolled students, faculty/staff, alumni and other stakeholders. Position is located in UNK Communications and Marketing and is expected to execute a visually appealing, brand-focused web experience across the entire domain. |

| Required Qualifications | Associate Degree in multimedia, communications, web design, information technology, or equivalent experience. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript Photo / video content creation |
