Job Description:
The Web and Digital Project Coordinator in Brown’s central Office of University Communications (OUC) provides support for a complex and diverse project portfolio, helping to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of web and digital work. Reporting to the Associate Director for Web Strategy and Digital Solutions, the Web and Digital Project Coordinator supports the development and implementation of Brown’s websites and web applications, including the University’s flagship website, Brown.edu.
The Web and Digital Project Coordinator is part of a web and digital team in OUC comprising UX designers, front-end developers and strategists/web producers. In a collaborative, shared-resources structure, the Web and Digital Project Coordinator partners with the Web and Digital leadership to support key project communication processes, gather resourcing data to inform capacity planning, and prepare and monitor activities within the agile development workstream.
Working alongside project leads, the Web and Digital Project Coordinator supports the project portfolio by ensuring data accuracy in project tracking software, coordinating cross-team tasks, and handling routine communication and scheduling. The Web and Digital Project Coordinator should have a collaborative nature and the ability to support the work of multiple projects while meeting project goals and deadlines.
